We met during golden hour when the light at Wheeler Farm wraps everything in a soft, golden glow. Instead of stiff poses, I focused on creating moments that felt relaxed and real walking, laughing. hugging, and letting the kids just be kids. Those are the moments that turn into the most treasured photographs.

Wheeler Farm is one of my favorite family photography locations in Utah. It's full of rustic charm, open space, and natural backdrops that feel timeless in every season. The Shepherds chose the perfect outfits for a fall season-warm tones, cozy layers, and classic textures that blended beautifully with the landscape.

We started here the tree line with the mountains in the background, then moved closer to the farm building and open fields. The kids were full of energy, and instead of forcing them into stiff poses, we embraced the playfulness-which gave us the most genuine smiles.

Wheeler Farm never disappoints. It's one of those places where no matter the season, the light and scenery always bring out something special. With the Shepherd Family, it wasn't about getting the "perfect" pose-it was about creating space for real connection.
I stepped back often during this session, letting them interact naturally. Their Laughter filled the air, and the kids were free to move, which gave us those beautifully unscripted mementos I love so much.
